Rotary watches offer an amazing quality to them. The company's watches have been prized possessions for years. The collection of watches offered by Rotary is one filled with style and class. This Swiss manufacture of watches is known for their classical watch style, but that is not to say they do not have something unique to offer. In fact, many of their pieces are works of art for their originality, richness and charm. Many of these pieces are traditional with a touch of fashion sense to them, making them sought after by some of the largest fashion icons today.

Rotary watches started as a family owned Swiss watch making company. Although many companies have started like this, many other companies have lost touch with the traditions that made the companies family legacies. That is not true for the Rotary watch lines though. In fact, the founders of this business have been utilizing the same style and tradition for the last four generations. The company was established in 1895 when Moise Dreyfuss opened a factory in La Chaux de Fonds Switzerland. The company was in demand from the start as people were searching for quality products at good valued prices.

In the 1920's, the company had grown large enough to expand, and Georges and Sylvain Drefuss moved to an office in Britain so that they could import the watches. The company continued to flourish. In 1925, the company designed its logo, which is the now famous "winged wheel" design found on many of its products. By the 1940's the company was still in demand, and it was appointed the official watch supplier to the British Army.

The company grew and produced well loved watches throughout the next years. In 1987, the fourth generation was added to the company's books when Robert Dreyfuss joined the company. The company's offices in Switzerland moved from their original location to new offices in Neuchatel in 2001. 2002 was a fantastic year for the company. In September, the company was given the UK Jewelry Award, given the Supplier of the Year Award. In October of 2002, the Rotary watches were found in over 35 countries around the world. 2003 continued the company's success as Rotary was awarded again at the UK Jewelry Awards 2003, winning the Supplier of the Year Award for the second year in a row. The Rotary watches continue with development of new watches. In 2005, the company put in place their Dolphin Standard, which signified that the watches allowed you to swim and dive all day with your watch on, setting the standard in the industry.

Rotary watches are fantastic investments for their quality. The business is still family owned and run, allowing it to hold true to its traditions and high standards. Unlike many other watch manufacturers, this one is leading the way in providing fine quality and ultimate style.
